Welcome to StackJar. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the StackJar website, services, and applications (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any part of the StackJar platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, you may not access or use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

The Service is intended for users who are residents of countries where such services are legally permitted. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with all laws applicable to you.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you will need to register for an account. When registering, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself.

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password
  • Restricting access to your computer or mobile device
  • Accepting responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

4. Content Creation and Reward System

StackJar operates a reward system where users can earn points by watching videos and writing blog posts about what they've learned. These points can be converted to monetary value and withdrawn according to the following terms:

  1. Points are earned at the rate specified on our platform (currently 100 base points for each approved blog post about a video you've watched).
  2. Blog posts must be original content written by you and must meet our quality guidelines.
  3. Points are convertible to USD at the rate specified on our platform (currently 100 points = $0.005 USD).
  4. Withdrawals can only be requested on the 1st day of each month.
  5. Minimum withdrawal amount is 2,000 points ($0.10 USD).
  6. Payments are processed within 3-5 business days after the withdrawal request is approved.
  7. You must provide accurate banking information for withdrawal processing.

We reserve the right to modify the reward system, including point values, conversion rates, and withdrawal policies, at any time with appropriate notice to users.

5. Content Guidelines and Ownership

When creating blog posts on StackJar, you agree to follow these guidelines:

  • Content must be original and created by you
  • Content must not infringe on any third-party rights
  • Content must not contain inappropriate, offensive, or illegal material
  • Content must not be generated using AI tools or plagiarized from other sources
  • Content must be relevant to the video you watched

While you retain ownership of your original content, by submitting a blog post on StackJar, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, distribute, and display your content on our platform and for promotional purposes.

6. User Conduct

When using the Service, you agree not to:

  • Use automated means or scripts to access or interact with the Service
  • Attempt to manipulate the reward system or artificially inflate your earnings
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent our policies
  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state your affiliation
  • Harass, abuse, or harm another person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service
  • Use AI-generated content or plagiarize from other sources for your blog posts

Any violation of these rules may result in immediate termination of your account and forfeiture of any accumulated points.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by StackJar and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

You may not:

  • Reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or perform any of the materials on the Service without prior written consent
  • Remove any copyright or other proprietary notices from the materials on the Service

8. Third-Party Content

The Service may display videos and content from third-party platforms such as YouTube and Facebook. We do not claim ownership of this content, and all rights belong to their respective owners.

We are not responsible for any third-party content that appears on our Service. Any use of third-party content is subject to the terms and conditions of those third parties.

9. Privacy Policy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as set forth in the Privacy Policy.

10. Content Review and Approval

All blog posts submitted on StackJar are subject to review and approval by our content team. We reserve the right to reject or remove any content that doesn't meet our guidelines, at our sole discretion. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Content that doesn't meet the minimum quality standards
  • Content that appears to be AI-generated or plagiarized
  • Content that is not relevant to the watched video
  • Content that violates our community guidelines or Terms of Service

If your content is rejected, you will receive feedback and may revise and resubmit your blog post.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StackJar and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
  • Any content obtained from the Service
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified to users at least 30 days before they become effective. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service or contact us to request account deletion.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.
